UFL Florida Tuskers Win Again

United Football League’s Florida Tuskers continued their winning ways with a 34-7 victory over the California Redwoods. The Tuskers moved to 3-0 on the season, while the Redwoods fell to 1-2.

Mike Vick - Eligible for Week One?

NFL Fanhouse has reported that a final resolution to the Michael Vick issue could come as soon as this weekend. Based on their sources, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is expected to reinstate Mike Vick immediately, which will make him eligible to play in the Eagles’ first regular season game against the Carolina Panthers.

Pacman Won’t Be Playing in the CFL

After hearing that Adam “Pacman” Jones would likely be playing for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers this season, the team released a statement Wednesday night saying they are no longer pursuing Mr. Jones. Several days ago, SI.com reported that Pacman passed up an offer from the UFL.

Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson Kicks Extra Point to Win Game

Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson proved he’s got skills.  In a preseason game Thursday night against the New England Patriots, Johnson kicked an extra point to give the Cincinnati Bengals a one-point victory over the Patriots.  Johnson practices kicking; however, he had never kicked in a game during his 8 years with the Bengals.

Michael Vick is an Eagle

I guess Mike Vick will always be a bird - first at Virgina Tech, then a Falcon, now an Eagle.  Let’s hope that he understands the important gift he has been given - a 2nd chance to get things right.
