Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Bart Scott has been signed by the New York Jets to a $48 million, six-year contract. This deal reunites Scott with Rex Ryan, who left Baltimore after four years as the Ravens’ defensive coordinator to become the Jets’ coach.

Kellen Winslow has been traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for two undisclosed draft picks. Tampa Bay may be a good fit for Winslow. When Jeff Jagodzinski, Tampa’s new offensive coordinator, was the Packer’s tight ends coach, Bubba Franks was important to the offense. Keep Winslow in mind when making your fantasy picks.

The Washington Redskins have signed Albert Haynesworth to a seven-year, $100 million contract, with $41 million guaranteed. The Redskins re-signed DeAngelo Hall to a six-year $55 million contract, with $23 million guaranteed.

There are reportedly currently three openings on the Arizona Cardinals’ coaching staff. One was created when offensive coordinator Todd Haley took the Kansas City Chiefs’ head-coaching job. The other openings were the result of Coach Ken Whisenhunt’s firing of defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast and quarterbacks’ coach Jeff Rutledge.
