It wouldn’t be football season without the saga known as Favre.  Personally, I could happily go the whole season without hearing about Favre, T.O., or Tom Brady’s love life.

Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson proved he’s got skills.  In a preseason game Thursday night against the New England Patriots, Johnson kicked an extra point to give the Cincinnati Bengals a one-point victory over the Patriots.  Johnson practices kicking; however, he had never kicked in a game during his 8 years with the Bengals.

I guess Mike Vick will always be a bird - first at Virgina Tech, then a Falcon, now an Eagle.  Let’s hope that he understands the important gift he has been given - a 2nd chance to get things right.
